The Official Bachelor’s Degree in Design at ESD Madrid is a four-year programme that offers students the opportunity to develop ideas that create impact and drive change, using design as a tool to rethink the visual society around us.

Fashion is much more than clothing: it is a form of communication, a cultural expression, and a driver of change. Through fashion design, we influence society, explore identities, and question the present in order to imagine possible futures. Today’s fashion designer not only creates garments but also designs experiences, narratives, and systems that respond to contemporary challenges.

Our Bachelor’s Degree in Design, specialising in Fashion, prepares you to develop a creative, critical, and socially engaged perspective by combining experimentation, technique, and strategy. Throughout your studies at ESD, you will learn to research trends, master materials and production processes, and build your own design discourse. You will explore tools that will enable you to create proposals with aesthetic impact and innovative value. Studying with us means immersing yourself in an interdisciplinary environment where fashion becomes a vehicle for expression and transformation.

Internships in Companies

Professional internships are a mandatory requirement during the final year of the degree and offer students the opportunity to connect directly with leading companies in the design sector. Through established agreements with a variety of organisations, students can apply their knowledge in a professional environment aligned with their academic training.

Each internship is structured to integrate classroom learning and strengthen professional skills in a real-world context. Tutors and programme coordinators guide the process to ensure that every student finds a placement aligned with their profile and interests, while supervising their progress throughout the experience.
